Six forty-five pm, and I was leaving my apartment, keys to my motorcycle in hand. It was windy out, the sky an iron grey. The sun was setting quickly, and coming out of my apartment I could feel a storm brewing. Mounting my cherished Suzuki, I rolled into the main street and headed towards Lita’s house. I had a lot on my mind. I did remember the dream. Well, most of it anyway. I don’t think I remembered many of the details.

I dropped my keys on the kitchen table and shoved my backpack into a chair. After opening the refrigerator I leaned on it’s door as I picked out the drink I wanted. I ended up with a bottle of applejuice. I unscrewed the top and took a swing of it. I never got into the hip new beverages like alchohol, coffee, or energy drinks.
